The legend says that this headdress belonged to Moctezuma II, the Aztec emperor that fell to the Spanish Conquest. This one-of-a-kind crown features quetzal feathers and sewn-in gold details and is held in Vienna against Mexico's will.
This unique mask is a tribute to that unique headdress. And like its predecessor, our Penacho may only crown one head.
