A drawing from Diego Salazar's New York Titans series — 2021, the city emerging from the pandemic into a future that remained unclear, its towers still standing, its streets still adjusting to what had happened. Salazar's series began with a drawing of the past and ends with a drawing of the present, and this piece holds that uncertain middle moment: the storm not yet over, the city moving forward anyway. Ink on paper, 30 × 22.5 inches. Available as a limited reproduction print.
