A deer's head and chest modeled by hand by Felipe García. Branching antlers rise from the crown, the ears open wide to the sides, and the eyes and muzzle are drawn in soft, rounded relief.
The surface is coated in red slip and burnished by hand, then fired in a traditional kiln, leaving an even terracotta tone with a quiet sheen and the fine marks of the burnishing stone.
