A crouching monkey candleholder by Taller Manos Que Ven in San Antonino Castillo Velasco, Oaxaca. The monkey squats with knees apart and holds a tall candle socket on top of its head with both hands, its round eyes and wide smile turned to the front.

Its whole body is covered in fine sgraffito lines that read as fur, in the style of carved jícaras, on high-temperature ceramic with mineral pigments.
