A lidded candy jar made by the Mujeres del Barro Rojo in San Marcos Tlapazola, Oaxaca. Its rounded body is shaped with deep fluting that spirals up from three small feet to the open rim.

The lid repeats the spiral and ends in a fluted knob. Finished in red slip and burnished by hand, the clay is fired in a traditional kiln and keeps the soft sheen of the burnishing.
