Andrés Santiago
He holds a degree in Visual Arts from the Universidad Veracruzana and has distinguished himself in printmaking workshops in engraving and lithography.
He lives in Tlacolula de Matamoros, Oaxaca, where he makes and researches his work from and toward the print, experimenting with different materials. He starts from the premise that prints can be made with minimal risk to people, by replacing materials and solvents in the workshop.
He has worked with workshops such as El Izote, which specializes in photogravure, and is currently master printer at the La Máquina workshop.
