Antonio Morales

Antonio Morales (a.k.a. Travesura) was born in 1997 in Oaxaca City and raised in Ocotlán de Morelos, Oaxaca. He works professionally as a tattoo artist and develops illustration and painting as part of his artistic exploration. His interests span printmaking, skateboarding, graffiti, music and tattooing, all of which have shaped his visual language. His work draws on the everyday, the dark, the sexual and the perverse, with blood and bodily fluids recurring in his imagery. He is currently experimenting with different techniques and media, widening his knowledge and exploring new perspectives on life, art and the individual.
