A group of bikers carved from copal wood and hand-painted by Agustín Cruz Prudencio in San Martín Tilcajete, Oaxaca. Agustín's work has always had room for the contemporary and the irreverent, and this piece exemplifies that: leather, chrome, and the open road rendered in the visual language of a village whose artistic tradition is several hundred years old. The painted surface applies the same meticulous geometric patterning to the motorcycle scene as it would to a jaguar or a mythical creature. The contrast is the point.

The cost of shipping is included in the price. Sculptures are shipped directly from Oaxaca, Mexico and thus allow for up to two weeks for delivery. All packages are shipped using DHL. A tracking number will be provided as soon as the piece is shipped.
