A woodblock print by Alfonso Canseco Peligro — a densely imagined arena in the underworld, the Mictlán of Nahuatl cosmology, rendered in the stark, expressive language of the grabado tradition. Canseco Peligro's woodcuts draw on the full depth of Mexican printmaking — Posada, the Taller de Gráfica Popular — while carving their own space within it: images of ritual, labor, transformation, and the persistent overlap between the living and the dead. Hand-printed on quality paper in a limited edition.
