Leticia's pairs are never quite symmetrical — there is always a slight differentiation in posture, in expression, in the way each figure inhabits the shared space — and that asymmetry gives her work its life. Hand-formed and painted with the bold, confident color sense that runs through the Garcia Aguilar family's entire ceramic practice.
