Designed and Conceived by Rombo (b. 1993)
Interpreted and Fabricated by Agustin Cruz Prudencio (b. 1984)
Painted Carved Copal Wood, 2021
Brookfield Place (previously named and still commonly referred to as the World Financial Center) is a shopping center and office building complex in the Battery Park City neighborhood in Lower Manhattan. Naturally, Rombo dressed them as bankers and imagined them doing what they do best, gambling.
Rombo designed this piece uniquely for Agustin, who interpreted Rombo's idea brilliantly, incorporating his own style and technique. Agustin introduced vibrant colors and patterns that are of his own vision and cultural Zapotec heritage. We will soon introduce you further to Agustin and his work.
On view at Luxuny.
Shipping costs are included in the price. Art pieces are shipped from Brooklyn, NY and should arrive within a week of purchase. A tracking number will be provided as soon as the piece is shipped.
