Agustín's work roams freely across time and culture — biblical stories, contemporary vehicles, mythical creatures, animals — and this figure belongs to his ongoing meditation on the human body in different historical guises. The Roman arrives in Tilcajete via the syncretic imagination of an artist who has found, in the tradition of painted copal wood sculpture, a form capacious enough to hold almost anything.

The Roman
The cost of shipping is included in the price. Sculptures are shipped directly from Oaxaca, Mexico and thus allow for up to two weeks for delivery. All packages are shipped using DHL. A tracking number will be provided as soon as the piece is shipped.
