The Rombozoid — a mask from the Oaxaca Series conceived by Diego Salazar and fabricated by Margarita Sumano Santos. The rhombus — rombo — is the geometric figure at the heart of Salazar's visual identity, and here it becomes the organizing logic of a mask: a face built from diamond forms, geometry as physiognomy. The collaboration between designer and fabricator is central to the series; this piece in particular feels like a self-portrait of the project itself, the founding shape of Rombo worn as a face.
