INQUIRE ABOUT THIS PIECE

A Virgen de Guadalupe rendered in polychrome ceramic by Leopoldo Mendoza Aguilar of Ocotlán de Morelos, Oaxaca — the same valley that produced Rodolfo Morales and Rufino Tamayo, a place where the sacred and the artistic have always been understood as the same thing. Leopoldo works within the long tradition of devotional ceramic sculpture in the Central Valleys while bringing to it his own densely colored, emotionally direct vision. At 41 by 33 centimeters, this piece commands its space with the quiet authority of an object made to be venerated.

Rombo was born as a space for voices that are rarely heard. It is a meeting point between art, design, and humanity—a bridge that connects creators with the world. We believe in the power of honest work and in the beauty that emerges from hands that create with purpose.

From Mexico, we seek to discover and support artists and artisan families whose talent deserves to be seen, valued, and celebrated. Every piece we share is part of a larger dream: to build a new era of art, where recognition and prosperity reach those who shape our culture.

Rombo is that beginning—an act of faith in art, in community, and in the power of creating together.
