A minimalist clay sculpture handcrafted by Felipe García in Santa María Atzompa, Oaxaca. Titled Wind, the piece features an elegant curved upper point with a subtle duck-like mouth, balanced above two rounded bases that give the sculpture a distinctive sense of rhythm and movement.
Made from natural clay with a red slip, the sculpture is modeled and burnished entirely by hand before being fired in a traditional kiln. Its restrained form and tactile surface reflect the expressive simplicity of contemporary Oaxacan ceramic sculpture.
