This fifth mask is an ode to Mexico's mythical past. Ometeotl is a unique deity in the Aztec religion. It is is believed to be a dual god, both male and femenine, acting as one. Together they were regarded as the supreme deity of creation, birthing the Universe itself, as well as other gods. This image was inspired by one its many representations through Aztec codices written and painted  in pre-Columbian times.
