A handcrafted low bottle made by Taller Aide Betancourt in the community of Juan Mata Ortiz, Chihuahua, a region renowned for its refined tradition of contemporary pottery. The piece is made from burnished clay and decorated entirely by hand with mineral pigments, using a delicate brush made from a young girl's hair to create its intricate patterns.

Its compact, rounded form and subtle burnished surface highlight the precision of the decoration, while the traditional kiln firing preserves the warmth and character of the clay. The result is a small yet expressive vessel that reflects the meticulous craftsmanship and distinctive aesthetic of Juan Mata Ortiz pottery.

Rombo was born as a space for voices that are rarely heard. It is a meeting point between art, design, and humanity—a bridge that connects creators with the world. We believe in the power of honest work and in the beauty that emerges from hands that create with purpose.

From Mexico, we seek to discover and support artists and artisan families whose talent deserves to be seen, valued, and celebrated. Every piece we share is part of a larger dream: to build a new era of art, where recognition and prosperity reach those who shape our culture.

Rombo is that beginning—an act of faith in art, in community, and in the power of creating together.
